Weekly Relationship Oracle ✦ Sept 21 – 27, 2025
Discover what this week’s The Starseed Oracle cards reveal about your relationship dynamics.
Welcome (back) to this week’s relationship dynamics oracle spread!
Sometimes connection between two people feels clear, other times it’s maddening confusion. That’s where the oracle cards come in! Let’s see what messages come up for you this week!
I’m Tania, and every Sunday, I share a new Relationship Dynamics Oracle Spread to help you tune into the energies shaping your connection with the person on your mind (romantic or otherwise).
How oracle cards work
The cards you are drawn to match the energetic frequency of the current situation you’re in or the trajectory you’re on.
Each card offers an idea or theme that helps you look at your situation from a new angle, a bit like getting advice that sparks reflection.
If you want to dive deeper on how it all works, I’ve written a post explaining just that:
About this week’s deck
This week we’re working with The Starseed Oracle deck by
and illustrated by Danielle Noel.Let me start off by saying that I adore this deck. The cosmic imagery that Danielle Noel created is just so visually rich. The deck itself is ethereal and expansive, carrying messages that speak to awakening, purpose and remembering who you truly are.
I actually bought this deck twice. Once in 2020 while I was living briefly in Kyiv, Ukraine.. that deck seemed to have gotten lost in the post and sadly never made it to me. I was offered a refund, but in good faith I decided to wait and see if the deck ever arrived - believing I’d manifest it’s arrival if I refused the refund. I did not. But I do like to hope that the deck still ended up in the hands of someone who needed it, stollen or otherwise.
About a year later, this deck finally landed on South African shores and I was finally able to get my hands on it, on the other end of the world.. and oh boy it did not disappoint!
Worth all the anticipation indeed.
I hope you enjoy this deck as much as I do. Now let’s get into our reading!

This week’s relationship oracle card spread revealed
I’ll admit, we’ve got quite the tumultuous spread today. Lots of push-pull dynamics this week. But it makes sense, considering the intense emotional pressure all of us are under on this planet at the moment. Times are heavy. But it’s always darkest before the dawn. So remember to give yourself and others, especially loved ones, grace this week. Sometimes we just aren’t feeling like our usual selves and that’s okay. As long as we remember to return to ourselves.
A note before we dive in
When you look at your chosen card set below, I encourage you to take a moment before reading my interpretation, to look at the card images yourself and notice what draws your attention. Is it the colours, or a specific detail? What feelings or thoughts arise as you take it in?
Your own impressions are part of the message, my words simply help guide you deeper.
A simple journal prompt:
What about the imagery in this card stands out to me and how is that theme showing up in my life right now?
1. IF YOU CHOSE SET ONE
Your Card: Loosen Your Grip
This card speaks to the times when fear keeps us holding on too tightly. It draws attention to the ways we cling to habits, addictions, distractions, or even expectations. Because letting go feels unsafe. But loosening your grip doesn’t mean giving up. It’s about making space for flow and grace. For something bigger than your own control to step in.
For you, this card suggests you may be clutching onto a belief or a pattern because it feels like your only option. The invitation here is to soften, even just a little. To trust that you don’t need to have everything nailed down. In a relationship dynamic, this often points to releasing the pressure of how you think things should be and allowing space for connection to breathe.
The words on this card, addiction, destiny, let god in, can sound big and heavy. If they don’t sit comfortably with you replace them with language that feels safer (e.g. the universe, your higher self, the path you’re choosing).
It is my view that our destiny isn’t fixed. It’s shaped by the choices you make now. Sometimes we cling to what feels familiar because we’re scared nothing better will come, or we don’t feel worthy of more, or we’re frozen in fear. But the risk of holding on too tightly is ending up stuck in emotional limbo, paralysed instead of moving forward. The true challenge is to trust that by loosening your grip, you open space for a different trajectory. One that can carry you toward something better.
Their Card: The Great Severing
This card carries the fiery energy of Mars, but also the possibility of softening into love. It often appears when someone is feeling defensive, shut down or possibly volatile. But behind the walls of conflict lies, the choice to forgive or apologise, to repair and to reconnect.
For them, this suggests they may be wrestling with strong emotions this week like anger, frustration or an instinct to pull away. Their internal tension could even surface as antagonist towards you or others. It’s a card of tension, but it also carries the seed of healing. It says that even here, even in the heat of conflict, love is possible if they choose to open.
There’s also the sense here that they may have been through similar situations in the past that may have been difficult or disappointing, which leaves them wary. Their current harsh exterior is likely less about you and more about a story they carry from the past that things always go a certain way.
Yet softening to love is the key. There’s room in them for a shift of perspective but it can’t be forced. Instead of pressing your viewpoint onto them, the wiser path may be to step back and let them come to you in their own timing.
The Dynamic Between You
Together, these cards highlight the delicate balance between release and resistance. You’re being nudged to loosen your grip and trust, while they’re being pulled into the heat of conflict. Both of you are carrying fear, but in different ways. One by holding too tightly, the other by pushing away. The result is a dynamic where misunderstanding and friction can flare up if neither side softens.
I also get a sense of a stalemate here, where both sides are holding their position. But in a stalemate, everybody loses. Waiting for the other person to move first can waste precious time and energy. This week, the message is to make the move that’s within your control, whether that means loosening, softening or showing up authentically, rather than staying stuck. When even one of you shifts, it creates the opening for connection to flow again.
Here’s the deeper truth though, this week you might feel tempted to control their outcome, but their outcome is not yours to manage. Everyone has to take responsibility for their side of the road. You cannot force them into softening into love. If they choose to, it’s their growth. If they don’t, that too must be accepted. This dynamic begins with you loosening your grip, and it continues with them facing their own inner turbulence, their own stories and deciding whether they’ll stay hardened or crack wide open. The balance lies in respecting both journeys.
Takeaway: Loosen your grip on control and focus on your own choices. Their softening is theirs to do, not yours to force. When you let go, you create space for the relationship (and yourself) to move forward instead of staying stuck in stalemate.
2. IF YOU CHOSE SET TWO
Your Card: Fall Into My Arms
This card is about holding space and the willingness to embrace duality - both the beauty and the extremes of life. It speaks to the capacity to let things be as they are, without trying to control, fix, or resist. To fall into my arms is to lean into trust. The kind that says, even when things are chaotic, I can hold both the love and the difficulty, the shadow and the light.
For you, this card suggests that right now, especially this week, you are the anchor in this relationship. You have the emotional breadth to hold your reality alongside someone else’s without collapsing under the weight. You’re not being asked to control outcomes or solve every issue, but to recognise the strength in your ability to simply be present. This cards provides a form of reassurance that you have the capacity right now, to hold the duality of the connection. The tension and the tenderness, the fear and the love. That’s no small thing. It shows that you’re bringing a rare form of grounded generosity to the relationship this week.
It may not be easy. It calls for growth, patience and resilience on your part. But there’s also a deep beauty in this role. By standing steady, you offer safety, acceptance and a place where honesty can land without judgment. The key is to not lose yourself in the process, but rather to discover just how much capacity you really have.
Their Card: Activated Earth
This card is about internal energy shifts and awakening to a greater sense of purpose. It often shows up when someone is going through big realisations. Moments where the ground beneath them feels charged, alive and sometimes unstable. Activated Earth brings revelations, but revelations aren’t always comfortable. Growth often stirs turbulence, confusion and upheaval before clarity settles.
For them, this week looks like a period of activation. Something is shifting in how they see themselves, the relationship or life at large. They may feel energised one moment and destabilised the next, carried by waves of change they can’t quite contain. It’s an intense energy to carry and it can spill over into how they interact with you. Sometimes their experience feels inspiring, other times it’s overwhelming for them and everyone involved.
What’s clear is that they’re in motion this week and this motion is important. Even if it feels extreme, it’s part of their unfolding. They’re wrestling with big truths and in that wrestling they may not always be fully balanced. But that doesn’t mean their process is without purpose.. instead it’s central to their path of personal growth.
The Dynamic Between You
Together, these two cards create a striking dynamic: one of holding and one of erupting. On your side, there’s capacity, steadiness and the willingness to cradle both sides of the connection. On theirs, there’s activation, upheaval and awakening energy that can be as destabilising as it is transformative. The beauty of this pairing is that it allows for mutual growth. You hold the container, they bring the spark and in that exchange, both of you can be transformed.
This is not to say it’s easy. The extremes of life are present here, with you grounded they are inflamed. If balance is lost, it can turn into overwhelm, where you become the one doing all the holding, while they offload their turbulence. The challenge this week is to allow support without enabling. To ground without becoming burdened and to let their activation inspire without destabilising you.
But this could also be really beautiful. As they move through their transformation, you’re not just a bystander.. you’re there to witness it, to steady them and to offer support in ways they may not even know they need. In doing so, you grow too. Their awakening sparks new depth in you, showing you the strength and compassion you may not have realised you carry. This is a dynamic that holds the potential for mutual evolution if both of you meet it with openness.
Takeaway: This week’s energy is about balance in extremes. You’re holding steady, they’re unfolding in intensity. Support without losing yourself and let their growth inspire your own.
3. IF YOU CHOSE SET THREE
Your Card: I’m Sorry
There’s no avoiding it.. this is a tough energy. This card asks you to drop your guard and face yourself honestly. It may be that you’ve had or are about to have a realisation that shakes your perspective. Perhaps noticing that your way of seeing things wasn’t the only one, or that your actions unintentionally hurt someone you care about. The message here isn’t about blame but about truth. When we soften our defences and admit what’s real, healing begins.
The phrase writing past wrongs is central. Awareness on its own won’t carry you forward this week. It’s the action that follows awareness that opens the door. This could be the week where you feel called to offer a heartfelt apology, to drop excuses or to have a conversation where you admit your part with humility. Vulnerability and accountability are key in this situation. Don’t go overboard tearing yourself down either... it’s more about clearing the air so that a relationship can breathe again.
While uncomfortable, this is incredibly liberating energy. Holding onto guilt or defensiveness keeps you trapped in loops. Owning your actions, even if it stings, clears space for connection to return. By stepping forward with sincerity, you not only heal the bond but also free yourself from the weight you’ve been carrying.
Their Card: Called
The energy surrounding them this week carries a sense of activation. This card appears when someone is being asked to rise into their gifts, take responsibility or step more fully into their role. This week, they may feel as though they hold the moral high ground, sensing that you’re the one reaching out while they stand more firmly. There’s an awareness within them that things have shifted.
Yet their challenge is not about staying on a pedestal. This card calls them to move past ego and into maturity. True growth here is about choosing compassion over control and forgiveness over resentment. Their training, in a sense, has been preparing them for this moment. The chance to show up not just as right, but as wise.
In a relationship context, this means they’re not a passive observer. Their role is active. To allow space for repair, to meet vulnerability with presence and to step into the strength of forgiveness. By softening in this way, they show that real power lies not in holding judgment, but in opening the door to reconnection.
The Dynamic Between You
Together, these two cards weave a potent but demanding story. You are being called to acknowledge past wrongs, while they are being called to step up into the higher path of forgiveness. It’s not easy, but the interplay of apology and grace is what has the potential to move things forward. If either side falters, the tension lingers. If both rise to the invitation.. what begins in heaviness can end in deeper closeness.
This week may bring conversations where the past collides with the future. You voicing what’s been left unsaid, them choosing how to respond. The dynamic highlights responsibility on both sides. You cannot force them to forgive, just as they cannot force you to apologise. Each person has their own side of the road to walk. Yours is about loosening the grip of pride and stepping into accountability and taking action to repair. Theirs is about loosening the grip of judgment and meeting you with openness.
If both of you show up in this way, the relationship can transform. This isn’t about pretending nothing happened. it’s about building something stronger in the aftermath. When apology and forgiveness meet, what felt like a rupture can become the foundation for renewed intimacy and trust.
Takeaway: This week carries the energy of reckoning and repair. You’re called to step forward with humility, they’re called to meet you with forgiveness. If you both do your part, this difficulty could become the very thing that makes the bond stronger than before.
IF YOU CHOSE SET FOUR
Your Card: Portal
This card arrives like a door that’s been flung open. Thresholds, opportunities and choices all beckon you forward. It’s a wild card that places the steering wheel in your hands. This week, whatever is unfolding between you and them, the direction it takes is yours to shape. There’s no single right or wrong answer here. Instead, the invitation is to recognise that the choice you make will carry you down the path most aligned with your truth.
What’s important to remember is that you’ve earned this moment. You’ve shown up, put in effort and grown through challenges. Now the universe is essentially handing you the keys. The message here is one of empowerment.. the world is your oyster and your decision is not only valid but necessary. That means no defaulting to guilt-driven compromises, no bending yourself to fit someone else’s comfort zone and no choosing out of fear of disappointing others.
This card asks you to claim what you actually want, not what feels safe or dutiful. When you step into that kind of authenticity, it ripples outward in ways that serve everyone involved. Even if it feels daunting, the most aligned choice will always open more doors than it closes. The energy this week invites you to stand firm in your knowing, because you hold the power this week.
Their Card: Hiraeth
This card carries the energy of soul-level longing. A homesickness that can’t quite be named. This week, they may feel restless, isolated or like something important is missing from their life. It’s the kind of ache that doesn’t necessarily point to a concrete action but instead asks them to sit in their feelings and acknowledge them. For them, the theme right now is about feeling, not fixing.
In a relationship, this may show up as distance, withdrawal or a subtle sense that they’re not fully anchored. They might be yearning for belonging but unable to articulate what belonging looks like. This longing doesn’t make them wrong, nor does it mean they’re intentionally holding back.. it’s simply the space they’re in. You may notice an undercurrent of melancholy in them or sense that their attention drifts elsewhere this week, even when they’re physically present.
This card suggests that they need gentleness, both with themselves and from others. Their work this week is to accept where they are and begin to take responsibility for how they respond to the ache they carry.
The Dynamic Between You
Together, these cards create a dynamic that is tilted in your favour this week. You are standing at a portal of possibility, holding choice and momentum in your hands. Meanwhile, they are in a more vulnerable, searching state. Grappling with their own inner void. The balance here doesn’t make either of you right or wrong, but it does highlight that this week’s energy requires you to be the one who chooses while they sit with what they’re yearning for.
If you make your choice out of guilt or obligation, it will eventually sour into resentment, which serves no one. If instead, you choose from a place of authenticity, even if that feels difficult or leaves them temporarily uncomfortable.. the outcome has the potential to be far healthier for both of you. This dynamic calls for clarity on your side and acceptance on theirs.
This week, your role is to honour the opportunities before you and act in alignment with your desires. Their role is to begin the process of tending to their own feelings of isolation or restlessness. You cannot control their longing and you cannot fix it for them. But by making a choice that’s true to yourself, you set the stage for a relationship that can grow without hidden resentments weighing it down.
Takeaway: This week, the power rests in your hands. Choose authentically, not out of guilt. Trust that honouring your truth will set a healthier course forward for both you and them.
